Italian actress Monica Bellucci has watched the much-talked-about ‘Monica’ song from Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Coolie, featuring Pooja Hegde. The special number, composed by Anirudh Ravichander and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, pays tribute to the iconic star — and Bellucci has shared her reaction.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Pooja Hegde was informed that Mélita Toscan, head of the Marrakech International Film Festival, had shown the song to Monica Bellucci. The Italian legend reportedly “loved it”.
Reacting to the news, Pooja said:
“That’s the biggest compliment ever. I’ve always admired Monica Bellucci. She’s iconic in her persona, voice, and style. I’m so glad she liked the tribute. Tamil fans were already tagging her on Instagram to watch the song.”

The actress also opened up about the tough shooting conditions:
- The song was filmed outdoors in hot and humid weather.
- Despite looking glamorous on screen, Pooja said the dance steps were heavy and exhausting.
- She had to appear fresh despite sweating, with loose hair and wide frames.
- “By the end of five days, I was completely tanned,” she revealed.
